The White Supremacist site Stormfront.org incorporates images of the Parthenon and the Pont du Gard into their site’s logos, with the legend “Every Month is White History Month.” The implicit argument is that since white people built these structures, the white race is superior to other races.
A post on “neomasculine” website MattForney.com argues that we should be misogynists because famous philosophers throughout history, beginning with Aristotle and Plato, were misogynists. “Even if a position does constitute misogyny…it still could be true, and probably is. Just ask yourself: what would Aristotle think?”
